On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am pleased to recognize Amber Bennett Dally on her appointment as district attorney for the Alcovy Judicial Circuit.
Dally has dedicated more than a decade of her legal career to serving the people of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit. She currently serves as chief assistant district attorney in Newton County, where she supervises and manages the Newton County office while prosecuting serious felony cases, including murder cases and crimes against children.
Throughout her career, Dally has demonstrated a commitment not only to accountability but also to the important role rehabilitation can play in the justice system. As the prosecutor assigned to drug court within the circuit, she has worked closely with accountability courts and serves on the advisory board for the Newton County Adult Felony Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court programs.
A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and Georgia State University College of Law, Dally brings significant prosecutorial experience and a deep understanding of the communities she will serve as district attorney.
We commend Dally on her appointment and wish her continued success as she serves the citizens of the Alcovy Judicial Circuit and Georgia's justice system.
Sincerely,
William C. “Bill” Gentry
President, State Bar of Georgia
