LAP is a confidential service provided through SupportLinc, a program administered by CuraLinc Healthcare, to help State Bar members with life's difficulties. Members are entitled to six prepaid clinical sessions per calendar year.
LAP provides a broad range of helping services to members seeking assistance with stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, family problems, workplace conflicts, psychological and other issues. You can access LAP services by calling 800-327-9631, by emailing gabar@curalinc.com, or by creating an account on the SupportLinc digital platform.
Members will need to visit the SupportLinc portal and follow the instructions to access existing providers via BetterHelp:
Create an account on the SupportLinc Web Portal.
From the SupportLinc dashboard, click Access Care.
Click Schedule Care.
On the Book Mental Health Support Page, click Get Started.
Once you reach the list of providers, CuraLinc providers are listed first – keep scrolling to find the BetterHelp providers. Select your provider and click Continue.
You will then see a popup letting you know you are going to BetterHelp. If you have trouble getting the sessions to apply to your existing BetterHelp account, please contact BetterHelp directly at contact@betterhelp.com.
