To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Tyler J. Browning, managing partner of Browning, Browning & Gilkinson LLC in Marietta, on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a Superior Court judge for the Cobb Judicial Circuit, covering Cobb County.

Judge Browning will be well served by his 26 years of experience in the legal profession, mostly representing clients in a variety of family law and civil cases as well as serving as a guardian ad litem, special master, and state-certified mediator and arbitrator. Before entering private practice, he served as an assistant solicitor general for Cobb County and as staff attorney for Cobb Superior Court Judge Robert E. Flournoy III.

By accepting this appointment, Judge Tyler Browning demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this capacity of judicial leadership.

Sincerely,

Christopher P. Twyman
President, State Bar of Georgia
