To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Henry County Solicitor General Pamela M. “Pam” Bettis on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a judge for the Henry County State Court.
Judge Bettis will be well served by her 20 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system, including the past seven years as solicitor-general. A former sheriff’s deputy in Henry County, she began her legal career as an assistant solicitor-general and later co-founded the law firm of Bettis & Howard, P.C., in McDonough.
By accepting this appointment, Judge Pam Bettis demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this capacity of judicial leadership.
Sincerely,
Christopher P. Twyman
President, State Bar of Georgia
