Congratulations to new State Court Judge Susan Camp

To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Douglas County Chief Magistrate Judge Susan S. Camp on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as judge for the Douglas County State Court.
Judge Camp will be well served by her 40 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system. She previously served as an assistant district attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit and later entered private law practice in Douglasville. She began her service as a Magistrate Court judge in 1995, becoming chief judge in 1998.
By accepting this appointment, Judge Susan Camp demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new capacity of judicial leadership.
