To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to attorney Kevin W. Drummond of Tysinger Vance, P.C., in Carrollton on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as judge for the Carroll County State Court.

Judge Drummond will be well served by his 31 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system. In addition to his private law practice, he has served as an associate judge for the Carrollton Municipal Court, city attorney for Bowdon, Centralhatchee, Ephesus, Franklin, Roopville, Villa Rica and Whitesburg, assistant district attorney and city solicitor and as a public defender in both State and Superior courts.

By accepting this appointment, Judge Kevin Drummond demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this capacity of judicial leadership.

Sincerely,
