Congratulations to new Rockdale State Court Judge Terry McRae

To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Gwinnett County Assistant Solicitor General V. Terrence “Terry” McRae of Conyers on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as judge for the Rockdale County State Court.
Judge McRae will be well served by his 22 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system, including his current service as a prosecutor in Gwinnett County. An Army veteran, he has also served as a judge for the Rockdale County Magistrate Court, helping reduce a case backlog during the COVID-19 pandemic.
By accepting this appointment, Judge McRae demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new position of judicial leadership.
