Congratulations to new Barrow County Solicitor General Kyle Thompson

To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Walton County Assistant District Attorney B. Kyle Thompson on appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as solicitor general for Barrow County.

Mr. Thompson will be well served by his 12 years of experience in the legal profession. In addition to his service with the Walton County District Attorney’s Office, he previously serviced as an assistant district attorney for the Western Judicial Circuit and as an assistant solicitor general for Macon-Bibb County.

By accepting this appointment, Kyle Thompson demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this capacity of prosecutorial leadership.
