The State Bar of Georgia extends condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Savannah attorney William H. “Bill” Pinson Jr. on his passing at the age of 76.
A member of the Georgia Bar since 1972, Mr. Pinson practiced civil litigation law in Savannah for 40 years and also served as city attorney and Recorder’s Court judge for Tybee Island. He served the legal profession as chair of the Savannah Bar Association’s Ethics Committee and as a member of the State Bar of Georgia’s Professionalism Committee.
The exemplary life and career of Bill Pinson is an inspiration to all Georgia lawyers. We appreciate and will remember his many contributions to the cause of justice in our state.
