Congratulations to new District Attorney Susan Treadaway

To the Editor:
The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Susan K. Treadaway, chief assistant district attorney for the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit, on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as district attorney for the Blue Ridge Circuit, which covers Cherokee County.
Ms. Treadaway will be well served by her 19 years of experience in the legal profession and public service, including previous work as chief assistant district attorney for the Cobb Judicial Circuit and, most recently, as interim district attorney for the Blue Ridge Circuit. She previously served on the Georgia Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force and as representative chair for the district attorney on the Child Fatality Review Panel.
Through her acceptance of this appointment, District Attorney Treadaway demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in his new position.
