The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Carroll County Magistrate Court Chief Judge Michael L. Hubbard on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a judge of the Carroll County State Court.
Judge Hubbard will be well served by his 21 years of experience in the legal profession and justice system, including prior service in private law practice, as chief judge of the Villa Rica Municipal Court, solicitor general for the City of Villa Rica, assistant district attorney in the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit, the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council and as judge pro tem for the Carroll County Superior Court.
Accepting this appointment is a demonstration of Judge Hubbard’s longstanding commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well as he assumes a new role in judicial leadership.
