Carl Veline Re-Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Atlanta – Carl A. Veline Jr. of the Law Office of Carl A. Veline Jr. in Warner Robins was re-elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 52,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 4.

Veline will continue to serve in the Houston Judicial Circuit seat on the board, representing Houston County. He earned his law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1974. His law practice is focused in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and workers’ compensation law. He is a past president of the Houston County Bar Association and previously served as solicitor general and judge pro tempore of the State Court of Houston County.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
