The State Bar remains open and fully operational during the World Cup (June 11–July 19). While onsite staff presence at the Bar Center may be limited, Bar staff will work remotely and be available during regular business hours via email and phone. Augusta Bar Members Honored by State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division

ATLANTA – The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of Georgia honored a judge and two attorneys from Augusta with service awards presented June 3 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Augusta Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court Judge Amanda N. Heath received the Distinguished Judicial Service Award, which recognizes Georgia jurists who contribute their time to support YLD programs and encourage YLD members. 

J. Kyle Davis of the Augusta Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office and Samantha Mullis of Augusta University both received the Award of Achievement for Service to the Bar for having dedicated countless hours to the betterment of Georgia’s legal profession through service to the YLD’s programs.
