State Bar of Georgia Honors Donald Lee with Juvenile Law Award

Atlanta – Donald E. Lee of Lawrenceville, staff attorney with the Gwinnett County’s Juvenile Court’s Guardian Ad Litem Unit, was honored with the 2022 Judge Willie Lovett Award for Advancing the Field of Juvenile Law, presented June 3 during the Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Georgia.

Sponsored by the Child Protection & Advocacy Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Committee on Justice for Children of the Supreme Court of Georgia, the award is presented to a lawyer or judge who is a member of the Child Protection & Advocacy Section and devotes his or her practice to advancing the field of juvenile law. 

The award was established in 2017 and is named in memory of Juvenile Court Judge Willie Lovett of the Atlanta Judicial Circuit.
