Section 4. Duties of the President-Elect.
The President-Elect shall assist the President and, in the absence or disability of the President, shall, perform the duties of the President., Section 4. Duties of the President-Elect.

Section 1. Requirement for Membership.
Every member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia who has reached their 55th birthday before, the preceding Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Georgia will automatically be a member of the Senior, If any member of the State Bar does not want to be a member of the Division, the member may request to, be removed from the rolls of the Senior Lawyers Division by contacting the President of the Division, The Division will have a voluntary annual membership fee due July 1 of each Bar year., Section 1. Section 2. Membership Fees. How Established.
The Division Executive Committee shall establish the annual Membership fees from time to time and submit, them to the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia for approval at the Spring Meeting of the, Board of Governors., Section 2. Membership Fees. How Established.
Section 1. Division Annual Meeting.
The Division shall hold an annual meeting of its leadership and membership at or about the time and place, of the Annual Meeting of the State Bar of Georgia, at a date, time, and location to be fixed by the, President of the Division., Section 1. Division Annual Meeting.
Section 2. Depository Requirements.
Funds of the Division shall be deposited in the treasury of the State Bar of Georgia and shall be disbursed, to pay the financial obligations of the Division after approval by the President and Treasurer of the, The Finance Department of the State Bar of Georgia shall, from time to time, make financial accounting, available to the Treasurer for the Division so the Division Treasurer can provide a report of the financial, condition of the Division to its members., Section 2. Depository Requirements.
Section 4. Actions of the Division.
All actions of the Division shall be by a majority vote of the members present and voting at any regular, the Division., Division Executive Committee may make decisions in the absence of the membership., A super-majority vote of the members may reverse decisions of the Division Executive Committee., A super-majority vote shall be defined as a vote of yea or nay by 3/4 of the membership present and voting, Section 4. Actions of the Division.
Section 4. No Compensation. Reimbursable Expenses.
Officers and members of the Division shall not be compensated for services rendered to the Division., However, officers and members may be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses in the furtherance of Division, business upon submission of receipts of any reimbursable expenditure to the Division Treasurer and subsequent, approval by the Division Executive Committee., All approved reimbursements shall be submitted to the Finance Department of the State Bar of Georgia, Section 4. Section 6. Tax Status.
As a duly organized Division serving the State Bar of Georgia and its members, the Division shall enjoy, the same tax status as the State Bar of Georgia., Section 6. Tax Status.
Section 5. Annual Financial Report.
A financial report of the funds of the Division shall be transmitted to the members at the annual meeting, of the Division and shall be included in the Division’s annual report to the Board of Governors., The Division shall have the same fiscal year as the State Bar of Georgia., Section 5. Section 2. Legislative Activity. Limitations.
The Division may, from time to time, as limited by the Rules, Bylaws, and Standing Board policies of, the State Bar of Georgia, study or review proposed legislation of interest to the Division and its members, The Division will take no action on its own behalf or on behalf of the State Bar of Georgia to promote, any legislative activities except as authorized by Bar Rules, Standing Policies, and Bylaws., Section 2. Legislative Activity. Limitations.
Section 1. Education.
The Division shall, from time to time, conduct programs for continuing education through the Institute, for Continuing Education of the State Bar of Georgia that are of interest to its members and may coordinate, its efforts in this regard with other programs and Divisions of the State Bar of Georgia., Section 1.
