Date: March 12, 2026, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Location: Virtual via Zoom
Join the Administrative Law Section for a virtual lunch and learn as we explore the ongoing impact of the Jarkesy decision.
AT&T had lunch with Jarkesy and enjoyed it very much. We know this from the April 17, 2025, Fifth Circuit decision, AT&T v. Federal Communications Commission. I hear the cost of the lunch was in the millions. But don’t take my word for it. Gray Proctor
will tell us all about it. He is an appellate litigator practicing in
state and federal courts, including the Tax Court. He is of counsel in
Kostelanetz LLP’s Atlanta office. As part of the firmwide Jarkesy issue
team, he has been quoted by TaxNotes and Law360 on the topic, and his
article Twelve Angry Taxpayers was cited by the Cato Institute in Hirsch v. United States Tax Court.
When:
March 12, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Cost: Free!
