Location: Virtual via Zoom

The Intellectual Property Law Section invites you to join us for an upcoming virtual CLE program: Patent Searching.

Effective searching is a critical skill across patent practice, from prosecution to litigation and transactional work. This program will provide practical guidance on conducting and using searches in a variety of contexts, including patentability searches before filing, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and clearance searches before product launch, and invalidity searches in litigation and post-grant proceedings. Whether you are a patent prosecutor, a litigator, or counsel advising on product risk, and whether you are new to searching or looking to refine your strategies, this presentation will offer valuable insights and best practices from experienced practitioners.
