Who says law isn’t about numbers? This one-hour CLE will equip attorneys to review and utilize financial statements and other key business financial records in the practice of franchise law and litigation. Key take-aways for attendees will include:

• Fundamental accounting concepts, terminology, and sources of business financial information
• How differences in corporate structure and types of business inform relevant financial records
• Overview of types of financial statements, levels of review and presentation
• How to leverage financial statements in franchise litigation
• Tips for litigators in preparing discovery requests to obtain relevant financial records.
