The Franchise & Distribution Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia is pleased to invite you to our final presentation of the 2025-2026 year.

Topic: An update on current legal trends impacting franchisors, including recent developments in non-competition laws, state laws regulating franchise brokers and other new legislation affecting franchisors.

At this presentation, we will also hold our Annual Section Meeting, where Section members will elect a new slate of officers for the 2026-27 Bar year, including a new member to serve as Secretary.

Bin Minter (Clark Hill), Amy Andrews (GoTo Foods), Holly Hart (IHG), and John Elliott (Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP) have agreed to serve on the Nominations Committee this year. We appreciate their willingness to serve the Section. The Nominations Committee will be responsible for evaluating the potential nominees and selecting the nominees from the names received. The nominees selected by the Nominations Committee will then be submitted to a vote by the Section at the July 23 meeting.

We would like to solicit the names of potential nominees who are interested in being considered to serve in the Secretary position for next year. You may nominate either yourself or another member.  If you would like to make a nomination, please email the Nominations Committee no later than Wednesday, July 8 at aandrews@gotofoods.com.
