2026 Commitment to Equality Awards Honorees

The Committee to Promote Inclusion in the Profession announced the recipients of the 2026 Commitment to Equality Awards. Each individual exemplifies a dedication to making our profession, and community at large, more diverse, inclusive and just.

The Randolph W. Thrower Lifetime Achievement Award honoree is Hon. R. Keegan Federal Jr., The Federal Firm LLC.

The Commitment to Equality Award honorees are Gillian S. Crowl-Parrish, Partner, Smith Curie McGhee Hiers; and Hon. Winfield W. Murray, U.S. Department of Justice.

The Avarita L. Hanson One to Watch Award honorees are Briana S. Blackwell, Hall Booth Smith, P.C.; and Carlos A. Fernandéz, Morgan & Morgan.

The awards will be presented at the 2026 Commitment to Equality Awards Ceremony on Monday, Dec. 7, 2026, 6 p.m., at the State Bar of Georgia. Buy tickets and purchase sponsorships here.
