Congratulations to new State Court Judge Mason Rountree
The Dallas New Era
To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Mason B. Rountree, founding partner of Rountree Law Firm in Dallas, on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a judge for the Paulding County State Court.
Judge Rountree will be well served by his 30 years of experience in the legal profession, during which time he practiced primarily in non-domestic civil litigation, misdemeanor criminal defense and small business law. While in law school, he interned with the Supreme Court of Georgia for Justices George Carley and Hugh Thompson and, upon graduation, was a law clerk for Superior Court Judges Arthur Fudger, William A. Foster III and Marion Cummings in the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit. He also served part-time as judge of the Dallas Municipal Court.
By accepting this appointment, Judge Rountree demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of judicial leadership.
