Congratulations to new Long County Solicitor General Melissa Poole

To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Atlantic Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Melissa L. Poole on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as the new Solicitor General for Long County.

Ms. Poole will be well served by her 27 years of experience in the legal profession, including the past 24 years as an assistant district attorney. She also has prior experience in private law practice and as a certified mediator in the Atlantic Circuit.

By accepting this appointment, Melissa Poole demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in her new position as solicitor general.
