Georgia legal community mourns loss of attorney Howard Wallace
The Griffin Daily News
To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Griffin attorney Howard P. Wallace on his passing at the age of 94.
A member of the Georgia Bar since 1955, Mr. Wallace practiced law in Griffin throughout his career, trying more than 1,500 civil and criminal cases. He also served as an assistant state attorney general and as a member of the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors and the Georgia Judicial Nominating Commission. He also served his country in the Army and Army Reserves.
The career of Howard Wallace is an inspiration to all Georgia lawyers. We are appreciative of his many contributions to the justice system of our state. He will be missed and fondly remembered.
