The Appellate Practice Section will hold a summer social on July 24 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega following a Court of Appeals hearing and work session with the House Judiciary Committee at 1 p.m. that day. Come spend time with members of the Court of Appeals and other appellate practice attorneys. Members and spouses/significant others are invited. Please click here to RSVP to the social at the winery. Appellate Practice Section members, in addition to attorneys and members of the public are invited to testify and/or attend a Georgia House Judiciary Committee hearing and work session with the Court of Appeals on Friday, July 24 at 1 p.m. at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, in the Mike Cottrell College of Business – Room 459 – Bob and Wanda Swoszowski Executive Board Room. Caseload, jurisdiction, procedure and other matters affecting appellate practice will be discussed. 

Lodging is available in and nearby Dahlonega if you would like to stay overnight.
