Robert Plumb Re-Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Orlando, Florida – Robert A. Plumb Jr. of Langdale Vallotton LLP in Valdosta was re-elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Plumb will continue to serve in the Southern Judicial Circuit, Post 2 seat on the board, representing Brooks, Colquitt, Echols, Lowndes and Thomas counties. He earned his law degree from the Widener University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1999. His law practice is focused in the areas of civil litigation, commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate and employment law. He also serves as Municipal Court judge for the city of Remerton and is the city attorney for three municipalities in South Georgia.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
