Gregory Futch Re-Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Orlando, Florida – Towaliga Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Gregory A. Futch was re-elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Futch will continue to represent the Flint Judicial Circuit, Post 1 seat on the board, representing Henry County. He earned his law degree from the Cumberland Law School at Samford University and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1983. He was previously in private law practice in McDonough and served as a Municipal Court judge and a special master for the Henry County Superior Court.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
