ATLANTA – William T. “Will” Davis of Naggiar & Sarif LLC in Atlanta has completed his term as the 73rd president of the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the State Bar of Georgia.

Under Davis’ leadership during the past year, the YLD raised more than $23,000 for the Georgia Legal Services Program (despite the fact the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the fundraising event itself), sponsored a week of blood donation drives across the state in conjunction with local Red Cross offices and co-sponsored the most successful Georgia Legal Food Frenzy in its nine-year history, raising $852,090 for the state’s regional food banks, helping provide approximately 3.3 million meals for food-insecure Georgians.

A resident of Coweta County, Davis is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2009. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. His law practice focuses on all areas of domestic relations law. He previously worked as a staff attorney for the Georgia Legal Services Program in its Albany Regional Office. Davis is an active member of the Stonewall Bar Association, Lawyers Club of Atlanta and the Atlanta Bar Association, where he participates in the Bard Show fundraiser and serves on the Executive Committee for the Family Law Section.

Davis previously served on the YLD’s Board of Directors (2014-16) and is a 2013 graduate of the YLD Leadership Academy. Davis served as co-editor of the YLD Review for 2013-14, a year in which the newsletter was awarded the national first place YLD newsletter by the American Bar Association. He has also served as secretary, treasurer and president-elect of the YLD.
