Edward Collier Re-Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Orlando, Florida – Edward R. Collier of Collier & Gamble LLP in Dawson was re-elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Collier will continue to represent the Pataula Judicial Circuit on the board, representing Clay, Early, Miller, Quitman, Randolph, Seminole and Terrell counties. He earned his law degree from the Mercer University Walter F. George Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1990. In addition to his law practice, Collier serves as Juvenile Court judge in the Pataula Circuit.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
