Ashley Mackin Brodie Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Orlando, Florida – Ashley Mackin Brodie of the Brodie Law Group in Gray was elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Brodie will serve in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit, Post 2 seat on the board, representing Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jones, Morgan, Putnam and Wilkinson counties. She earned her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2007. Her law practice is focused on family law, and she is a past president of the Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
