Eric Ballinger Re-Elected to Board of Governors of State Bar of Georgia

Orlando, Florida – Eric A. Ballinger of The Law Office of Eric A. Ballinger LLM P.C. in Canton was re-elected to serve a seventh term on the Board of Governors of the 50,000-member State Bar of Georgia and was installed June 8 during the organization’s Annual Meeting.

Ballinger will continue to serve in the Blue Ridge Judicial Circuit, Post 2 seat on the board, representing Cherokee County, where he has served since 2007. He earned his law degree from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and a Masters of Laws in Litigation from Atlanta Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1993. His law practice is focused in the areas of family law, criminal defense, general litigation and small business representation, and he serves as a part-time judge for the Magistrate Court of Cherokee County.

The Board of Governors is the 160-member policymaking authority of the State Bar, with representation from each of Georgia’s judicial circuits. The board holds regular meetings at least four times per year.
