On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend congratulations to Cynthia C. Adams, founder and managing partner of the Law Office of Cynthia C. Adams LLC in Douglasville, on her recent appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve as a Superior Court judge for the Douglas Judicial Circuit.
Judge Adams will be well served by her 14 years of experience in the legal profession, including service as judge pro tempore of the Douglas County Juvenile Court and, previously, as a solicitor and assistant district attorney in Fulton County.
Judge Adams' acceptance of this appointment demonstrates her commitment to serving the public and the justice system, and we wish her well in this new position of judicial leadership.
