To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend congratulations to Coweta Judicial Circuit Assistant District Attorney Brett M. Adams of LaGrange on his election and installation as president of the newly revitalized Troup County Bar Association.
The local and voluntary bar associations representing communities and practice areas throughout Georgia fulfill a vital responsibility in service to the legal profession, the justice system and the public at large. The reorganization of the Troup County Bar Association will enhance the potential for local attorneys to meet their continuing legal education and pro bono service requirements in the local community.
We commend President Adams, Vice President Tyler Moffitt, Secretary/Treasurer Melissa Sams and all members of the Troup County Bar Association for their leadership and wish them well in all future service to the public and the justice system.
Sincerely,
Patrick T. O'Connor
President, State Bar of
Georgia
