On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Savannah attorney Julian H. Toporek on his recent passing.
Mr. Toporek was a respected member of the state bars of both Georgia and South Carolina during his distinguished career of more than four decades, representing clients throughout the coastal region. He was a skilled practitioner of the law. His Savannah colleagues were treated with kindness, consideration and fairness in our interactions with him.
All members of the State Bar of Georgia can be inspired by the lifetime of service of Julian Toporek. We appreciate his many contributions toward strengthening the foundations of our justice system, which protects the rights and liberties of all Americans.
