To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations and thanks to Lawrenceville Municipal Court Chief Judge Dennis T. Still, on the announcement of his retirement from that post at the end of this year.
A member of the Georgia Bar since 1977, Judge Still has practiced law with the firm of Garner & Still LLC for 42 years and presided over the Lawrenceville Municipal Court for 39 years. He has also served the public as city attorney for Dacula, the legal profession as past president of the Gwinnett County Bar Association and the justice system as an 11-term chair of the Municipal Court Judges Training Council of Georgia.
We salute Judge Dennis Still on his long career of distinguished service and many contributions to the betterment of our profession and the justice system. We wish him well in his years of retirement ahead.
