To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Fayetteville resident April W. Ross, a senior assistant district attorney with the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, on her recent appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve on the State Commission on Family Violence.
All Georgians will benefit from Ms. Ross’ service on the commission, which strives to provide leadership to end family violence by promoting safety, ensuring accountability and improving justice for generations to come.
With her acceptance of this appointment, Ms. Ross demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new position of statewide leadership.
