To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Lincolnton attorney Ben B. Ross on his recent passing.
During his exemplary legal career, which began in 1948, Mr. Ross served for 38 years as the attorney for Lincoln County. He further served the public for 28 years as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, chairing the House Education Committee. Mr. Ross also served his country in the Army during World War II.
All members of the State Bar of Georgia can be inspired by the lifetime of service of Ben Ross. We appreciate his many contributions toward strengthening the foundations of our justice system, which protects the rights and liberties of all Americans.
