To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Cobb County District Attorney D. Victor “Vic” Reynolds on his recent appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as the new director of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Mr. Reynolds will be well served by his 32 years of experience in the legal profession, during which time he has been a chief magistrate judge, a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney and, since his election in 2012, district attorney for Cobb County. He previously served in law enforcement as a police officer.
With his acceptance of this appointment, Vic Reynolds demonstrates his ongoing commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
