To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to state Rep. Bert T. Reeves Jr. of Marietta, a partner with Smith, Schnatmeier, Dettmering, Collins, Reeves, Hobson & Hobson LLP, on his recent appointment by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve on Georgia’s Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group.

All Georgians will benefit from Rep. Reeves’ service as a member of the advisory group, which is principally responsible for monitoring and supporting the state’s progress in addressing current issues related to juvenile justice and delinquency prevention.

Rep. Reeves’ acceptance of this post is evidence of his continued dedication to public service. We wish him well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
