To the Editor:
The State Bar of Georgia congratulates DeKalb County State Court Judge Stacey Hydrick on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to be the Stone Mountain Judicial Circuit’s newest Superior Court judge.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia for 27 years, Judge Hydrick has the right combination of experience to continue serving the citizens of DeKalb County in this new role. In addition to spending the last eight years as a DeKalb County State Court judge, Judge Hydrick has worked in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, the Georgia Attorney General Office’s Special Prosecution Division, and the Augusta Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, as well as in private practice. Of particular importance to the State Bar of Georgia, Judge Hydrick is a member of the Bar’s Board of Governors, and she serves on the investigative panel of the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission.
Judge Hydrick continues to demonstrate her commitment to serving the public and the justice system, and her fellow Georgia lawyers wish her well in this new role.
President, State Bar of Georgia
