To the Editor:

The State Bar of Georgia congratulates our colleague, Tricia P. “CK” Hoffler, chief executive officer of The CK Hoffler Firm in Atlanta, on her election as president-elect of the National Bar Association.

In her career spanning more than three decades, Ms. Hoffler has established an internationally successful law practice and record of professional and public service worthy of the top leadership position with the National Bar Association, the nation’s oldest and largest national network of predominately African-American attorneys and judges.

Since joining the State Bar of Georgia in 2012, she has been actively involved with the Gate City Bar Association, which presented her with the A.T. Walden Legacy Award, and the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, which honored her with the Leah Ward Sears Award for Distinction in the Profession.

Ms. Hoffler’s installation as president-elect of the National Bar Association is a source of pride for the entire legal community in our state. Her fellow members of the State Bar of Georgia add our applause, offer our support and wish her well in this new position of national leadership.
