To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to attorney Sean Goldstein of the Goldstein Law Group in Suwanee on his appointment by the Gwinnett County Police Department to serve as chair of the newly created Police Citizens Advisory Board.
We also congratulate attorneys Andy W. Morgan of the Morgan Law Group P.C. in Lawrenceville and Gwinnett County Chief Deputy Clerk of Court Ruth L.R. McMullin on being appointed to serve as members of the board.
All Gwinnett County residents will benefit from these Bar members’ service on the board, whose mission is to develop and maintain a partnership with the Police Department for the purpose of engaging in problem-solving processes that support the community and the department’s efforts to enhance public safety.
By accepting these positions, Mr. Goldstein, Mr. Morgan and Ms. McMullin demonstrate their commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish them well in this new capacity of countywide leadership.
