To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Cherokee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Rosemary M. Greene on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as a Superior Court judge for the Cherokee Circuit, which includes Bartow and Gordon counties.
Judge Greene will be well served in her new position by her 20 years of experience in the legal profession, including the past eight years as district attorney and previous service as assistant district attorney for the Blue Ridge and Cherokee Circuits.
By accepting this appointment, Judge Greene demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new capacity of judicial leadership.
