To the Editor:
On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to longtime Warner Robins City Attorney James E. “Jim” Elliott Jr. on his recent induction into the Municipal Government Hall of Fame by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA).
Mr. Elliott is well deserving of this honor in light of his distinguished career of 35 years in the legal profession, including 32 years in service to his home city of Warner Robins. A past president of the GMA City Attorneys’ Section and past chairperson of the Local Government Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, he is only the fourth city attorney inducted into the Municipal Government Hall of Fame in its 25-year history.
All Georgia lawyers can be proud of this prestigious honor earned by our colleague Jim Elliott. We add our appreciation for his many contributions in service to the public and the justice system.
Brian D. “Buck” Rogers
President, State Bar of Georgia
