To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to William B. “Bill” Dyer III of Dunwoody, a partner Lee & Hayes PLLC in Atlanta, on his recent promotion to the rank of brigadier general in the U.S. Army Reserve.

All Americans will benefit from Brig. Gen. Dyer’s continued service as assistant judge advocate general (JAG) for military law and operations at the Pentagon, where he manages the work of the Military Law and Operations sections of the Army’s JAG office and advises high-level military commanders on worldwide legal and operational issues.

Brig. Gen. Dyer has been an active member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia for 25 years. His acceptance of this post is evidence of his continued dedication to serving his country. We wish him well in this new capacity of leadership.
