On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I wish to extend condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Atlanta attorney Dudley Rochelle Carter on her recent passing.
During her distinguished career of more than three decades, Ms. Carter was recognized as a leading practitioner in labor law and pioneer in diversity policy while serving as a partner in the Atlanta firms of Spanos & Rochelle and later with Littler Mendelson P.C. She also served as a board member of the Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility at Georgia State University, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and the Georgia Board of Commissioners for Equal Opportunity.
All members of the State Bar of Georgia can be inspired by the lifetime of service of Dudley Rochelle Carter. We appreciate her many contributions toward strengthening the foundations of our justice system, which protects the rights and liberties of all Americans.
