The State Bar of Georgia congratulates Charles A. Brooks of Morrow on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as the newest Clayton County solicitor general, with responsibility for prosecuting criminal cases in the State Court of Clayton County.
Mr. Brooks brings eight years of experience in the legal profession to his new position, including service as chief assistant solicitor general for Clayton County, with the Clayton Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of General Counsel, and in private law practice.
By accepting this appointment, Charles Brooks continues to demonstrate his commitment to serving the public and the justice system, and his fellow members of the State Bar of Georgia wish him well in this new role.
