CLE/ICLE Updates Regarding COVID-19

Supreme Court Order Temporarily Changes CLE Requirement

**In addition to the in-person waiver below, the March 31 deadline for 2019 hours has been extended to April 30.**

In response to recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Supreme Court of Georgia has issued an order temporarily waiving the 6-hour in-person CLE requirement. You are still required to fulfill your 12-hour CLE requirement by March 31, but the order allows you to obtain all of your hours through self-study, in-house or online seminars. Please note that the Supreme Court has not ordered the cancellation of any scheduled CLE programs, and if you have questions about an upcoming CLE program, please direct your questions to the program provider.

Read the Supreme Court order.

If you have any questions regarding this waiver, you may contact the State Bar's CLE Department at 404-527-8710 or email

ICLE Programs Update

**All in-person ICLE programs through March 31 have been cancelled.**

The Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the State Bar of Georgia (ICLE) seeks to keep you informed regarding its operations in light of COVID-19. We value all work that has gone into making each program successful. We also appreciate your patronage and attendance at ICLE programs.
