Congratulations to B.T. Gutter-Parker on state appointment

To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to attorney B.T. Gutter-Parker of B. Thassanee Gutter-Parker, P.C., in Grayson on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as the consumer member on the State Board of Optometry.

All Georgians will benefit from Ms. Gutter-Parker’s service on the board, which is responsible for the regulation of licensed optometrists, including the investigation of complaints and, if warranted, disciplinary action.

Through her acceptance of this appointment, Ms. Gutter-Parker demonstrates her commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
