Congratulations to Judge Colbert on appointment to state commission

To the Editor:

On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express congratulations to Chatham County Superior Court Judge Lisa G. Colbert on her appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve on the Georgia Child Support Commission.

All Georgians will benefit from Judge Colbert’s service on the commission, which regularly reviews child support guidelines, develops and maintains the Georgia Child Support Calculator, recommends legislation and provides training throughout the state to judges, attorneys and the public, among other duties.

Judge Colbert’s acceptance of this appointment demonstrates her continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish her well in this new capacity of statewide leadership.
