In light of continued COVID-19 health concerns, all 2020 ICLE programs will be available by online livestream ONLY. There will be no in-person attendance for registrants, you will be sent a livestream link to the program by 7:00 p.m. the evening before so that you may watch the program online from your home or office.

 

Why You Should Attend

 
This program will interest practitioners exploring entering the class action field, as well as seasoned class action attorneys. The program begins with a refresher and update regarding the Class Action Fairness Act and recent cases interpreting the Act. Speakers will then address hot trending topics of the day including privacy and data breach class actions, requirements for settlement approval, and the tougher standing requirements. An in depth discussion of proving class wide damages is also on the agenda. At the conclusion of the program, panelists will discuss ethical issues that are peculiar to class actions, of which all attorneys practicing in this area should be aware.  
 
 
Livestream registration closes 5:00 PM the day before the program. Materials for these courses are provided in digital form.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations reaching ICLE by 5PM the day before the seminar date will receive a registration fee refund less a $25.00 administrative fee. Otherwise, the registrant will be considered a “no show” and will not receive a registration fee refund. ICLE will email a digital link to class materials to every “no show.”
